Artemis London 2025: Keynote speech from the PRA and our agenda outline
This morning we are pleased to announce a keynote speech from the Bank of England and also to reveal the agenda outline for our upcoming catastrophe bond and insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference, Artemis London 2025. For 2025, our London conference moves to a new modern venue, still very centrally located in the City, with space for more to attend and a larger networking and sponsor exhibition area.
In 2025 we return for a full-day of detailed discussions on catastrophe bonds and the wider insurance-linked securities (ILS) market, while also exploring other ways capital market participants can access re/insurance related returns and ILS market priorities for the reinsurance renewal discussions at the end of the year.
There will be plenty of time for valuable networking too, with long breaks, a delicious lunch and a cocktail reception at the end of the conference, with our doors open from 8am to 7pm on the day.

Today we are delighted to announce that Nylesh Shah, Head of Insurance Supervision, London Market, Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Bank of England will deliver a keynote speech to open the conference.
With UK ILS activity rising and new regulatory updates and consultations seeking to make transacting ILS more efficient there, we’re delighted to have Nylesh joining us to update the audience on: A vision for the future of UK ILS.

It remains subject to some small changes, but is largely complete. Next week we will reveal the allocation of our expert speakers to the panels as well, to complete the agenda for the day.
Sticking to our familiar format, we will run through insightful conversations about private ILS strategies, the catastrophe bond market, opportunities to expand the ILS asset class and the need for the market to continue evolving and modernising, before moving into our final session of the day that asks what the ILS market should focus on as the reinsurance conference season begins later that week in Monte Carlo.

As with all Artemis London conferences, there will be a core focus on catastrophe bond and insurance-linked securities investment opportunities and market conditions through most of the day, moving to a more reinsurance focused theme in the latter segment to set the agenda for upcoming renewal discussions for the ILS market.
The venue for Artemis London 2025, at The Minster Building, 21 Mincing Lane, London EC3R 7AG., will be accessible on the day from 8am with coffee and breakfast served.
Speaking will begin at 9am sharp and run through till 5pm, with two long networking coffee breaks and a long and delicious lunch so there will be plenty of time to meet, network and discuss with the ILS and reinsurance market experts in attendance.
As ever, we will end the day with a cocktail reception at the venue that will run until 7pm, so you can make the most of the valuable networking opportunities available.
